Sports
Ice hockey is recognized as Canada's national sport.
How was hockey was invented?
They're is not one simple anwser. Some stories say:
- Guards invented it because they got bored.

- Indians played a form of hockey in Nova Scotia when the Europeans arrived.

-In Nova Scotia, a school called Kings View Academy. A teacher there supposedly took his students out to the pond behind their school and asked them to make up a sport. The game they played became hockey.

- Was first played in Montreal in 1875, At McGill Universty, rules were made by Canadian  J G A Creighton, a McGill student.

Diversity
I think Canada's diversty is apart of Canadain culture because its freedom allows different religons to express themselves in actives and practices, which makes Canada what it is.

Nagar Kirtain, a parade to celebrate the birth of Khalsa. The start of Sikhism. My family and I went to this event that took place in Surrey, we enjoyed the free food and the beautifully decorated floats.

Even people from other religions came out and celebrated.
Industries and Companies
I think some Industries and Companies make up some of Canada's culture. For example the company Ford manufactures vehicles, it also produces Trucks and SUVs that are altered for the Canadian driver. I think the Logging Industry also is apart of Canada's culture simply because we have a lot of it.
Arts
When I think of true Canadian art I think of the beautiful First Nation paintings and Totem Poles. I think they are great pieces of work to represent Canada.
Landscape
I think the landscape and topography of Canada influences some actives and sports. For example in BC we have famous Whistler which is a great place to ski and snowboard.  And we have mountains that influence actives like rock climbing and hiking, which many Canadians enjoy.
Languages
Canada has two offical languages which are English and French. The video below is an exgeration of the Canadian accent.
I think people who say A and aboot are the ones who's dad is Canadian, Mom is Canadian, Grandpa and Grandma are Canadian.
Canada is a great country that is open to all. Its freedom allows immigrants to be comfortable and its diversity creates the opportunity to feel unique. The population of yesterday leaves great culture, the population of today carries that culture proudly and happily.
